Event 24th July 2010
Segment 1
Skhorn comes to the ring, and reiterates his anger towards Hawk for coaching Black Jack/Renegade during The Lords of Darkness’s title loss last week. Skhorn says The LOD have worked out a way to pay back Hawk for his interference. Skhorn and Ashe have made a pact to, between them, capture every single title in IPW so that they can hold all the power and bring Hawk and IPW to its knees. Skhorn says the following people are now part of what will be known as “The LOD Dead Pool List”. He advises anyone challenging for a title from here on in to think twice, as they will take the champions place on the list.
The Deadpool List is:
- IPW Rookies Champion Reaper
- IPW Slam Nation Champion Wolfman
- IPW South Pacific Champion Kiwi Thriller
- WCW/IPW Legacy Tag Team Champions Renegade/Blackjack
- IPW Australian Champion “Wild” Willy McTavish
- IPW Hardcore Champion Storm
Skhorn then states that the Hardcore champion, Storm, should be at home with her Barbie dolls and not with the title he made famous, as it’s a man’s title. A pissed off Storm comes to the ring, whilst being pleaded with by Mystery not to confront Skhorn. She calls for Skhorn to put his money where his mouth is, and challenges him to a Hardcore Title Match Main Event. Skhorn gladly accepts.

MATCH 1 – BEST OF THREE FALLS MATCH
Sebastian Maximus def. Haywire (2-1)
Segment 2
“Wild” Willy McTavish comes to the ring, and explains that he really wants to put this whole Cruz number one contender thing to bed once and for all tonight. He again pays out Cruz and asks him to get to the ring for the match now! Cruz’s music hits and Muze makes his way to the ring, and informs Willy (by whispering in his ear) that Cruz is again sick and unable to wrestle. Willy conveys this to the crowd, then attacks Muze holding him to ransom ”either you get Cruz out here now for me to wrestle, or I start taking it out on his pal here”. Suddenly, Slammin Sam’s music hits and he comes to the ring to save Muze. Willy then challenges the heroic Sam to fight. Sam accepts.
MATCH 2 – SINGLE MATCH (Non-Title)
Slammin Sam (w/ Muze) def. “Wild” Willy McTavish
After the match, Willy went berserk! Knocking down Sam before scooping up the helpless Muze. Willy flung Muze over his shoulder, stating that he’s holding “the little bastard for ransom!” before disappearing backstage.

MATCH 3 – DAVID VS. GOLIATH MATCH
R.I.P def. Jett
MATCH 4 – SINGLE MATCH
Sweet Ass def. Val Vortin
After the match, Wolfman emerged into the Sweatshop, challenging the “cheating” Sweet Ass to a winner takes all final to their “Best out of three”. Sweet Ass refuses the challenge, stating that Wolfman is a loser. Wolfman erupts into rage, rushing into the ring and hitting Sweet Ass with “The Iron Claw”. Wolfman continues to apply the pressure onto the Sweet Assassin, refusing to release it until Sweet Ass agrees to a rematch. IPW Official, Jeff the Ref, tries to assist the struggling Sweet Ass, but can’t seem to break the hold! Wolfman drags Sweet Ass by his head, with the Iron Claw still applied, out of the Sweatshop arena and into the night.
Match 5 - Grudge Match Flashman def. Fred Awesome
Fred Awesome has become a very serious problem to me! Why? Well, for starters, he just doesn’t seem to understand what the Flashman is trying to accomplish. I’m trying to bring up the IPW division to the level where we can take a stand against the MIW forces, and all Fred seems to want to do is challenge my every decision. But, never one to back down from a fight, I entered the Sweatshop arena to begin my confrontation with Fred Awesome. Just as the bell rang, Fred rolled out of the ring, stating “I’m sorry Flashman…I’m really sorry…but you deserve it…”
I’d been set up!
R.I.P’s music hits and the Giant superstar made a b-line for me. I tried to ward off R.I.P., but to no avail. The events are still foggy in my mind, I remember him lifting me up and planting me down with a jumping Tombstone Piledriver, before it all went black. When I awoke, I was informed that various cruiserweights had come to my aid, providing a stretcher and medical equipment. Reports all claim that Fred Awesome just stood there, watching, happy to see me finally out of action

MATCH 6 – FRED’S PUNISHMENT MATCH Wolfman def. Fred Awesome
Segment 3
MATCH 7 – IPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
England’s Finest (Renegade & Blackjack) def. Mystery & Reaper
The high flying duo of Mystery and Reaper were out next, bringing the IPW / MIW world to life! England’s Finest entered the Sweatshop next, bring their pompous charm and British arrogance to boot. The match up saw the duo take it to the British boys, isolating and working down their opponents, tagging in and out to keep the action fresh. That was until Mystery seemingly tweaked his knee during the contest. England’s Finest saw an opening and pounced! Reaper watched helplessly as Mystery began to lose more and more of his high flying ability, as the British boys applied more and more pressure to the damaged knee. In the end, Renegade applied an ankle lock on Mystery, twisting it to affect both the ankle and the knee, forcing the Mysterious One to tap out.

MATCH 8 – LOD DEADPOOL MATCH 1: IPW HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP
Skhorn def. Storm [NEW CHAMPION]
A handful of superstars in the IPW / MIW division can say that they’ve versed Skhorn. A less amount can say they’ve only barely survived. As of Saturday night, you can add Storm to that list. In a gruelling contest, the Rockstar Diva Storm took it to the limit against the Tyrant Skhorn. With numerous weapon shots and various weapon invoked moves, the matchup was one of the hardest, if not deadliest, the IPW / MIW world had seen in quite some time. But sadly for Storm, the reign of her being Hardcore champion had come to an end with Skhorn superplexing her off the top rope, landing onto a deadly mix of weapons.

Event 17th July 2010
MATCH 1 – IPW SOUTH PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP
Kiwi Thriller def. Slammin’ Sam
Slammin’ Sam came close to winning the IPW South Pacific Championship in a triple threat match last week after “Frog Splashing” Blackjack, only to be toss out of the ring by a sneaky Kiwi Thriller who then stole the pinfall. Sam delivered a strong offense against Thriller, almost capturing a 3-count multiple times! But the cunning of Kiwi Thriller was not to be denied, as the Champ fought back, ultimately downing Sam and retaining his coveted South Pacific Championship

MATCH 2 – TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Jett def. Bronson Hoye & Sebastian Maximus
SEGMENT 1 – SWEET ASS SUBMISSION SCHOOL
Suddenly, Sweet Ass’s music rang out around the Sweatshop. Sweet Ass then emerged in amateur wrestling attire. Sweet Ass then stated that he has a big submission match against Wolfman later on in the night, and that the Sweet Assassin requires a warm up. Sweet Ass then challenged the 3 young stars, stating that if any of them could make him tape out, he would award $500 out of his own pocket to them.
MATCH 3 – SUBMISSION GAUNTLET MATCH
Sweet Ass def. Bronson Hoye, Jett & Sebastian Maximus
After the match, Sweet Ass retained his hold on Sebastian Maximus. Wolfman then emerged, saving Sebastian before applying his own submission, the Triangle Choke. Luckily for Sweet Ass, Wolfman’s grip was not fully applied, allowing Sweet Ass to slip out of the hold and escape Wolfman’s grasp.

MATCH 4 – GRUDGE MATCH
Fred Awesome def. Flashman
Last week after the tag team match, I was attacked by R.I.P., after what appears to be a psychotic obsession with trying to beat me. But after Sebastian and I briefly disabled R.I.P., I had noticed that Fred Awesome was no longer at ringside, yet his partner Haywire was, leading me to the assumption that Fred Awesome is nothing but a bully and a coward. I decided to challenge the “Awesome” superstar to a match, hoping to prove a point to the young star. Just as it seemed I had the match in my hands, R.I.P.’s music hit, temporarily distracting me from the match. As I gazed out to the entrance area, Fred Awesome was recovering behind me and before I knew it, Fred had hit me with my own finishing move! – The Flashbang!, thus giving Fred the win.

MATCH 5 – TAG TEAM MATCH
Storm & Mystery def. England’s Finest (Blackjack & Renegade) via DQ after interference from the Lords of Darkness
After the match, Renegade calls for the mic stating he is sick of all the games between the two teams, thus pleading with Hawk & Flashman to grant them a title shot tonight with a “No DQ” stipulation on the line. I responded, on behalf of Hawk, stating that the No DQ stipulation would be added if both Renegade & Black Jack could work successfully as a team.

MATCH 6 – SUBMISSION GRUDGE MATCH
Sweet Ass def. Wolfman
In this building rivalry, Sweet Ass again challenged the likes of the feral Wolfman to a match, this time resulting in a win only by submission. Sweet Ass took the advantage over the Slam Nation champion, working over various limbs and delivering painful holds. But Wolfman was not going down without a fight, fighting back with his own unique offence. Sweet Ass withstood the onslaught, and temporarily blind-slighted the young champion, using the ropes as leverage to capture a win over the Wolfman.

SEGMENT 2 – “WILD” WILLY CALLS OUT CRUZ
IPW Australian Champion “Wild” Willy McTavish comes out in a foul mood, and talks about how sick with the flu he has been the last two weeks and how pissed he is that Cruz not only won the Number One Contendership, but has also been calling him out in his absence. Commissioner Jackaroo informed Willy McTavish that Cruz wasn’t there. Willy insisted that, because of Cruz’s absence, an open challenge was to take place, with Willy taking on any challenger. Jackaroo then requested that I, the Flashman, join him momentarily. After a brief discussion, we approved the match up. Suddenly, R.I.P.’s music hit, and the towering giant entered the Sweatshop.
MATCH 7 – “WILD” WILLY’S OPEN CHALLENGE
“Wild” Willy McTavish def. R.I.P.
It seemed R.I.P. was gaining an advantage during the match, so I innocently decided to take a trip down to ring side to get a better view for myself. R.I.P. was irate at my arrival, but I informed him and Ref Jeff that I was just watching. The match was one of the most hard hitting matches the Flashman has seen, with vicious shots and clubbing blows delivered by both competitors. When McTavish tried to roll up R.I.P., R.I.P. grabbed onto the ropes, seemingly trying to escape the ring. I took this moment to wack R.I.P. on the head with McTavish’s own flask, sending R.I.P. on a temporarily K.O trip.

MATCH 8 – NO DQ MATCH FOR THE IPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
England’s Finest (Renegade & Blackjack) w/ Hawk def. The Lord of Darkness (Ashe & Skhorn) [NEW CHAMPIONS]
The added stipulation invoked carnage and mayhem in the main event of the evening. With Black Jack and Renegade so close to capturing the Tag Team titles, the pressure was on to try and overcome the Lords of Darkness. Skhorn and Ashe developed a strong team offense against the British boys, isolating each member was they were tagged in. But it appears that the British boys didn’t heed the owners warnings, as Hawk suddenly made an entrance, invoking himself as a manager on the team of England’s Finest. With Hawk’s ruthless guidance, he was able to refocus and reinforce the young team, to which they ultimately downed and defeated the Lords of Darkness, making England’s Finest the NEW IPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!

MATCH 1 - SINGLE MATCH
Bronson Hoye vs Jett [Ended in a no-contest]

Jett feels the Pain
SEGMENT 1
R.I.P. interrupted the rookie challenge, stating that everytime he sees a cruiserweight now, it reminds him of Flashman's face laughing at him. He then vowed to take on his frustrations on Jett & Bronson Hoye

R.I.P. def Bronson Hoye & Jett
SEGMENT 2
Enough was enough - I decided to confront this slow oaf of a man. I told R.I.P. that he was one of the slowest wrestlers the Flashman had even beaten. I also took the liberty of reminding R.I.P. that I had beaten his ass "Dos" (Twice) in the ring, before flipping off the dopey giant and leaving the arena. R.I.P. then chanted No, no NO! over and over, to which was answered by a gigantic "HELL YEAH!" from yours truly!

MATCH 3 - SINGLE MATCH
Cruz (w/ Muze) def Skhorn
MATCH 4 - SINGLE MATCH
Flashman & Sebastian Maximus def Fred Awesome & Haywire
Time and time again, I've had to deal with Fred Awesome and his somewhat "obsession" with trying to defeat the Flashman. First, it was about the rookie's championship. Then, it was to prove he was ready for the Slam Nation championship. Then, he brought 2 other rookies along to challenge the then new superstar acquisition of "Muze", claiming that it was me? Come on, the Flashman doesn't need to be anyone but himself! So, I decided to team up with the returning Sebastian Maximus and take these rookies to the street! Haywire and Fred delivered quite an offence to both Sebastian & Myself, but just as Fred seemingly had the upper hand, Sebastian took out an advancing Haywire, which temporarily distracted Fred, allowing me to hit the Flashbang for the 3-count!.
After the match, R.I.P. ran out and began to beat me down. Sebastian came to my aid, trying to attack and claw the Colossal Giant. Just as it seemed R.I.P. was about to take down Sebastian, Sebastian hit back with a Code Breaker, stunning the big man leaving him open for a Flashbang! After the surprise counter attack, I grabbed the microphone and asked the audience "If you think the Flashman just beat this fat bastard one more time, give me a hell yeah!" which resulted in the IPW / MIW world screaming "Hell Yeah", much to the disproval of R.I.P.
MATCH 5 - SINGLE MATCH
Weird One def Igor the Invisible Wrestler
MATCH 6 - SINGLE MATCH
Renegade def Ashe (w/ Skhorn)
MATCH 7 - NO RULES MATCH
Wolfman def Sweet Ass
It was time for Sweet Ass to put his money where his mouth was! Squaring up against the feral superstar might not have been a wise choice for the Sweet Assassin, as the snarling Slam Nation Champion stalked his way to the ring. But Sweet Ass was able to hold off the grizzly superstar, delivering huge moves and hard hitting shots to Wolfman, before relying on weapons to do more of his dirty work. But, despite the old school offence by Sweet Ass, it was Wolfman who downed the "#1" Superstar of the MIW / IPW world, whom dived off the top rope, delivering a double axe handle with a steel chain to the Sweet Ass's throat, knocking Sweet Ass out!

MATCH 8 - TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR THE IPW SOUTH PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP
Kiwi Thriller def Slammin Sam & Black Jack
The newly crowned South Pacific Champion made his smooth entrance, woo'ing the ladies and combing his gelled hair. Kiwi Thriller has quickly become a new target for the heavyweights of the IPW / MIW world, with Slammin' Sam & Black Jack wanting their chance against the well-dressed superstar. Scoring various close pinfalls, numerous hard shots and devastating slams, the three superstars battled to their hearts content. The end of the match saw Kiwi Thriller hit his "Slice of Heaven" on Black Jack, before Slammin Sam dived off the top rope, landing on the already downed Black Jack. Thriller then threw Sam off and tossed him out of the ring, before covering Black Jack for himself and scoring the victory
Last Week @ The Sweatshop
Event 3rd July 2010
MATCH 1 - IPW SOUTH PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP
Kiwi Thriller def. Weird One [NEW CHAMPION)
n a surprising start to the night, Kiwi Thriller was first to enter the Sweatshop, looking sharp and slick as always. Rumours were running wild, stating that Kiwi Thriller was obsessed with bringing back the IPW South Pacific Championship to the NZ shores! But, in order to recapture the gold, Kiwi had to take on and defeat the champ, Weird One! Weird One entered the Sweatshop, dressed in his usual weirder-that-ever attire (complete with a rats tail!) and was set to bring the fight to Kiwi Thriller. Weird One began to beat down Thriller, forcing to the mat via several holds & attacks. But, in a surprising upset, Thriller countered the champs offence, enabling himself to hit his famed “Slice of Heaven” finishing move, downing the Weird One for the 3-count and crowning Kiwi Thriller the NEW IPW SOUTH PACIFIC CHAMPION!
MATCH 2 - TAG MATCH
Shock Therapy def. Jett & Bronson Hoye
Violent Bill & Violent Bob had been awarded another All-Day-Pass from the Asylum, due to their good behaviour, and decided to yet again return to the Sweatshop! The crazy duo staggered out, terrorising furniture and waving to fans alike. Next up, the duo of Jett and Bronson Hoye were out in force, ready to tackle the Violent Brothers. Much to the young rookies dismay, Shock Therapy were too much to handle, taking out Jett early on, leaving Bronson to suffer the duo’s Crossface / Hook submission finisher, ending the match in Shock Therapy’s favour
MATCH 3 - SINGLE MATCH
Storm def. Fred Awesome
The newly crowned Hardcore Champion, The Rockstar Diva Storm, made her way out to the ring next. The diva had been on quite a roll lately, coming off a successful victory against Slammin Sam the week before. The self-proclaimed “Awesome” superstar emerged next, much to the admiration of the MIW / IPW World. The Awesome superstar was ready to prove to the world that he was both Awesome & Hardcore! But, despite the powerful and hard hitting offense brought about by Fred, Storm was able to withstand and counter-attack the Awesome star, putting him away for the 3-count.
SEGMENT 1
R.I.P. stormed out to the ring next, infuriated about his lost last week to yours truly. R.I.P. argued that last week’s loss to me was a fluke and demanded a rematch, stating he would destroy me – and with that, I decided to enter the Sweatshop, accepted the rematch for later on in the night, telling R.I.P. to refer to me as “The Giant Killer”, and that he was the next “hunt”
MATCH 4 - SINGLE MATCH
Ashe def. Black Jack
The Resident Evil of MIW & IPW stalked his way out to the ring next, carrying his newly won Tag Team championship. The originator of the Lords of Darkness had struck up a rivalry with England’s Finest (Renegade & Black Jack) during the tag tournament, as the brash young stars have been seemingly trying to make an example of both Ashe and his tag partner Skhorn. Black Jack then emerged, looking ready to take down the legendary superstar. Ashe brought his technical skills and hard hits on Black Jack, with Black Jack surprisingly countering with his own versions of Ashe’s technical moves. But, despite the onslaught of power brought on by Black Jack, it was Ashe that put down one half of England’s Finest, picking up the win against the British Powerhouse
MATCH 5 - SINGLE MATCH
Renegade def. Skhorn
The self-proclaimed “Best of the British” then graced the IPW / MIW world with his presence, donning the UK flag and waving it frantically, showing his national pride. But Renegade’s possessive love for his country was short lived, as screams echoed throughout the Sweatshop, signalling that Skhorn had arrived! Skhorn then charged his way out to the ring, grunting and snorting the whole way, whilst keeping his gaze locked on Renegade. The British Bad Boy was pumped up and ready to take it to the Tyrant Skhorn, as the two went at it! Just as it seemed that Renegade had the match in his favour, Ashe emerged, attacking the young star from behind. The Lords of Darkness then set about doing their infamous double team moves, levelling “The Best of the British”. Suddenly, Black Jack emerged, carrying a chair to help level the onslaught. Ashe & Skhorn quickly fled, chuckling to themselves at the sight of Renegade struggling to his feet.
MATCH 6 - SINGLE MATCH
Sweet Ass def. Wolfman
The Sweet Assassin entered the arena next, donning his famous cloak and glasses. Sweet Ass grabbed the mic and spoke about how unhappy he was that his tag team partner, Scott Black, had lost a few weeks ago to the likes of Diamond. Sweet Ass claimed that he would extract revenge on his opponent – The Feral One, The Wolfman! Sweet Ass began to dismantle the ferocious superstar, delivering various holds and attacks, further establishing his arrogance. The Wolfman eventually began to fight back, clawing, scratching & beating down the Sweet Assassin – but it wasn’t enough, as the Sweet Assassin recovered, putting away the Ferocious superstar
MATCH 7 - SINGLE MATCH
Flashman def. R.I.P.
The rematch was set, and it was time for yours truly to set the record straight – again! I entered the Sweatshop, much to the approval & cheers of the IPW / MIW World! Then, R.I.P. emerged. His gaze locked onto mine. Before I could count to 5, R.I.P. was in the ring and began to charge towards me. I was lucky to escape not once, but twice! Unfortunately, the third time I wasn’t so lucky, as R.I.P. caught me and began to seemingly destroy me. It took every ounce of my being to stand up to the onslaught brought on by R.I.P. Just as it seemed it was all over, R.I.P. had planted me close to the ropes, and with the remaining strength in my body, I was able to get my leg up and break the pinfall. Before I knew what happened, I was sky-high in the air & running off adrenaline, I countered R.I.P.’s chokeslam attempt into a Flashbang, disabling the Giant long enough for yours truly to allow for a pinfall victory.
R.I.P. argued that last week’s loss to me was a fluke and demanded a rematch, stating he would destroy me – and with that, I decided to enter the Sweatshop, accepted the rematch for later on in the night, telling R.I.P. to refer to me as “The Giant Killer”, and that he was the next “hunt”
MATCH 8 - LADDER MATCH FOR THE #1 CONTENDERSHIP FOR THE IPW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Cruz (w/ Muze) def. Mystery
In the main event of the evening, “The Heart & Soul of IPW / MIW” Cruz squared off against the “High Flyer of MIW” Mystery. The match had some brutal and gut wrenching moments in the match, with the Ladder being used as a weapon various times throughout the match! Cruz took charge of the offence on Mystery, attacking the legs and lower region of the high-flyer. Cruz then whipped Mystery in the ladder, forcing the back and neck of Mystery to slam hard into the unforgiving steel. But the quickness of Mystery took Cruz off-guard, as Mystery was able to recover and deliver his own ladder based offense against “The Heart & Soul of IPW / MIW”. Eventually, Cruz was floored and Mystery began to set up the ladder, inching ever so close to the ringing the bell, which hung high above the squared circle. As Mystery looked back down, he saw Cruz was still motionless. Mystery was then torn between a victory and his famous “Swanton”. Choosing the latter of the two, Mystery dived off the ladder aiming a Swanton at the body of Cruz. Suddenly, Cruz rolled away, forcing Mystery to crash into the hard mat below. Cruz then set up for his famous high-flying finisher, “The Slasher”, to which connected with full force! Cruz then quickly climbed the ladder, ringing the bell signifying the end of the match!

The Wheel of 'Ultimate' Fate

The audience spins the wheel!
OPENING SEGMENT
MIW Owner Hawk announced that tonight would mark the return of the infamous "Wheel of Fate". However, instead of match stipulations, wrestlers names would be on the wheel with the match-ups decided by each spin from audience members. If a superstar’s name came up multiple times, then he / she would be dealt the ultimate “fate” from the wheel.

The Wheel of Fate
WHEEL OF FATE MATCH 1 - SINGLE MATCH
Flashman def. Poison
It seemed only natural to have the first superstar spun on the wheel be yours truly, The Flashman. I would have been lying to you if I said I wasn’t nervous, for the whole roster was literally waiting to challenge me! Suddenly, Hawk announced that my opponent would be non-other than….Poison?! The Australian Old School powerhouse vs The Flashmatic one? Okay, I admit, I was scared. But Poison and I have a history, a good one at that, so we shook hands and the match up began. I tried my best to not wrestle Poison, and stick to avoiding him at all costs. Unfortunately for me, Poison countered my first attempt at a Flashbang and planted me down, multiple times, with huge power slams! Poison then threw me around like a ragdoll, levelling me with violent chops and clubbing blows. Just when I thought it was all over… a kendo stick was thrown into the ring. I jumped at the opportunity and began to attack Poisons legs, trying to wear the big man down. I watched as Poison stumbled to his feet, before launching TWO Flashbang’s, finally levelling the big man long enough to get the three count. Afterwards, Poison and I shook hands and thanked the MIW / IPW World.

WHEEL OF FATE MATCH 2 - SINGLE MATCH
Poison def. "Wild" Willy McTavish, in a non-title IPW Australian Championship match
The wheel of fate dealt Poison the (un)lucky task of wrestling again! As Poison staggered around the ring, Hawk then announced that the wheel had landed on the IPW Heavyweight Champion, Willy McTavish! The Saveage scot graced the Sweatshop with his trademark “MCTAVISH” chant and the match was underway. Willy worked over the injured leg of Poison, forcing the Australian Powerhouse to wither and yell in pain. Fortunately, Poison was able to counter McTavish leg-based offence and counter with his trademark clubbing blows and hard hitting slams. The end saw Poison level McTavish, scoring a pinfall over the Heavyweight champion – and sending a message to the champ in the process – be warned!

WHEEL OF FATE MATCH 3 - SINGLE MATCH
Flashman def. R.I.P
Next up on the wheel, and making his return to the MIW division – Ex-Lords of Darkness Member, R.I.P. Hawk then announced that the wheel had decided to land on my name again! Having already had the life nearly beaten out of me by Poison, I staggered back out to the ring to face the irate R.I.P. As the bell rang, R.I.P. blind sighted me and began to beat me down. Having just faced Poison, my body was next to quitting on me. R.I.P. laughed off claims that I could defeat him. I escaped out of the ring, rushing through the crowd to try and escape! As R.I.P. charged, I dodged and forced R.I.P. into the corner post, buying myself some valuable healing time. But R.I.P. wasn’t finished – he decided to bring a chair in to try and finish me off! But his attack foiled! I was able to level the big man with a shot to the head, followed by a Flashbang on a chair + Tadpole splash combo!
WHEEL OF FATE MATCH 4 - SINGLE MATCH
R.I.P def. Sweet Ass
Before R.I.P. could even catch his breath, he was back out to the ring, as the Wheel had landed on his name again! The Wheel spun and landed on one half of Original Synn, Sweet Ass! Sweet Ass addressed the MIW / IPW World, stating that he was not fit to wrestle tonight, having come down with a case of “Explosive diarrhoea” . Sweet Ass decided to forfeit the match, entering the ring to shake R.I.P.’s hand. But before he could shake his hand, R.I.P. attacked Sweet Ass, forcing the ill superstar to compete! Despite the technical prowess of Sweet Ass, it seemed that his illness mixed with the unruly offence of R.I.P. was enough to down Sweet Ass, giving R.I.P. a victory via pinfall
WHEEL OF FATE MATCH 5 - SINGLE MATCH
"Wild" Willy McTavish def. Diamond, in a non-title IPW Australian Championship match
The IPW Champion was spun again, and graced the Sweatshop with another “MCTAVISH” catch cry! And his Wheel of Fate opponent was one half of the “Thrilling Diamonds” tag team, Diamond! Diamond strutted to the ring, hollering that he was “polished”! McTavish didn’t take lightly to Diamonds claims, and decided to roughen up the “polished” superstar. Despite the young superstars valiant fight, it just wasn’t enough to down the IPW Heavyweight Champion, whom celebrated with his “shiny shiny” (championship belt)
WHEEL OF FATE MATCH 6 - SINGLE MATCH
"Dangerous" Vinnie Diamond def. The Weird One
DVD had finally returned to the MIW / IPW World! DVD was sidelined late 2008, after a career threatening back injury forced the ex-South Pacific Champion to be sidelined until medically cleared. Now that DVD had returned, he was ready to face any member of the MIW / IPW Roster. As the wheel came to a hault, it landed on the name of the newly crowned South Pacific Champion – the Weird One! Despite being off with injury for almost 2 years, DVD showed no signs of ring rust, wearing down the more recent champion, ultimately ending the match in his favour too! Welcome back DVD!
WHEEL OF FATE MATCH 7 - SINGLE MATCH
Skhorn def. Slammin' Sam
The wheel spun once more and landed on MIW superstar Slammin’ Sam! Sam entered the Sweatshop to the crowds approval and awaited the decision of the wheel. Unfortunately for Sam, the wheel landed on none other than the tyrant, Skhorn! Surprisingly, Sam put up a well-rounded fight against Skhorn, knocking down the Tyrant various times. However, Slammin Sam’s victory was not to come on this day, as Skhorn recovered and destroyed the Slammin’ superstar
WHEEL OF FATE MATCH 8 - TAG MATCH
Flashman & Mystery def. "Dangerous" Vinnie Diamond & Storm
The wheel of fate seems to have favoured yours truly, and as such, I was called out again to face not one, but TWO members of any decided roster in a wheel of fate tag match. The luck of the wheel teamed me up with the newly placed MIW star, Mystery – to whom I fired from the IPW not that long ago. But, seemingly putting our differences aside, we focused our goal on defeated our opponents – DVD AND STORM?! The wheel never created such chaos! Though Mystery found it hard to once again battle his love, Storm, and though I was nearly destroyed by the power of the returning Dangerous Vinnie Diamond, Mystery and I found a way to strategically take our Storm, allowing Mystery to hit his famed Swanton finisher, picking up a 3 count for our team!
WHEEL OF FATE MATCH 9 - WHEEL OF FATE LETHAL LOTTERY
Flashman def. the entire Wheel (Skhorn, Sweet Ass, RIP, DVD, Renegade, Storm, Jett, Wolfman, Kiwi Thriller, Poison, "Wild" Willy McTavish, Reaper, Bronson Hoye, Slammin Sam, Diamond) to cap off a huge night of wrestling.
MIW Owner Hawk then announced that a Wheel of Fate Battle Royale was to take place! With entrants being decided via the wheel! Bodies of Superstars flew everywhere, as Skhorn, Sweet Ass, RIP, DVD and Poison set about destroying the younger division. Once again, the wheel had decided to keep yours truly as the LAST entrant, allowing for some very much needed re-hydrating. Ultimately, it came down to Storm and myself. Having seemingly eliminated Storm, I was surprised to see that the Rockstar Diva had held on for dear life. I mounted up all the strength I had left and landed a “619” to Storms back, forcing her to bounce of the ropes and become eliminated.
After the match, I asked Storm to re-enter the ring and share the victory with me, for she battled as hard as I had that night.
Some Highlights From Last Weeks Event
Saturday 19 June 2010
MATCH 3 – IPW SLAM NATION CHAMPIONSHIP...
Wolfman def Val Vorton
The Crusader of Crump had finally danced his way back into the Sweatshop. With his Fanatic Fan base rocking along to his techno-tuned theme song, the IPW Slam Nation champion was pumped up and ready to face his nemesis, The Feral One - The Wolfman. Wolfman had finally earned his shot at the Slam Nation championship, and set about to destroy Vorton. But having been beaten down various times before, Vorton was not going to let the Wolfman beat him again. But, despite the defence brought on by The Survivor of Strobe Lights, Val Vorton, it was Wolfman who ended up destroying Vortin and was crowned the NEW IPW SLAM NATION CHAMPION
MATCH 4 – WCW TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ROUND 1...Original Synn (Sweet Ass & Scott Black) def Diamond & Slammin Sam
The vacant WCW Tag Team Titles were up for grabs and as such, a tournament was announced with various teams qualifying. Now, the finals of the tournament were underway with the arrogant team of Original Synn being squared off against Thrilling Diamonds. But Diamond’s tag team partner, Kiwi Thriller, was nowhere to be found. As such, a replacement was named – Slammin Sam. The newly formed team of Diamond and Sam worked surprisingly well against Original Synn, downing the two veterans and scoring near pinfalls over them. But, alas, the veterans of Original Synn were able to down Sam and Diamond, eliminating them out of the tournament
MATCH 5 – SINGLE MATCH...Mystery def Reaper
The high-flyers in IPW & MIW were out next, looking ready to prove just who was the better of the two. Mystery, whom I had recently fired from the IPW division, was destined to prove against the new, up and coming IPW flyer Reaper just what it takes to be the best flyer in the business. Mystery and Reaper both unleashed their high-flying arsenal against one another, which included various moves from the top rope and running flips using the ring ropes! But the famous Swanton from Mystery was the final high-flying move that was able to down and defeat Reaper
MATCH 6 – WCW TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ROUND 2...Cruzing 4 Bruising (Cruz w/ Muze & Poison) def England’s Finest (Black Jack & Renegade)
The Heart & Soul of MIW (and his mini-clone, Muze) had returned to the Sweatshop! The IPW / MIW World was ecstatic and excited to see the returning duo. Another fan favourite, Poison, also got the crowd on their feet – donning a new entrance theme but bringing the same ol’ badass regime. Their opponents were none other than England’s Finest, Black Jack & Renegade. The British boys saw this match as an opportunity, a chance to not only defeat two of the biggest names in the industry, but to advantage further towards their gold in the process! Alas, the British boys plan seemed to backfire on them, with Poison and Cruz dominating them via a TKO / Slasher combo finisher.
MATCH 7 – BATTLE OF THE SKIRT....Willy McTavish def Storm
The Rockstar Diva then graced the Sweatshop with her presence, rocking the IPW / MIW World with her new rock theme. The matchup was announced to be a Battle of the Skirt contest, with the winner being declared the King / Queen of the Skirt. But who else in the IPW / MIW division wears a skirt? – None other than the IPW Heavyweight Champion, Willy McTavish. McTavish laughed off Storm as a challenge, but the Rockstar Diva is never one to back down lightly. Willy McTavish brought his brash sense of wrestling against Storm, almost defeating the Rockstar Diva with various two-counts. Eventually, Storm had had enough of the Savage Scot, downing the champion and levelling him with 3 swift kick to Willy’s groin. Ref Jeff then called for the bell, Disqualifying Storm and crowning Willy the winner.
MATCH 8 – SINGLE MATCH....Hercules def Flashman
After 18 months, The Mighty Hercules had returned from exile and was ready to compete – or so we thought. Hercules announced that he had finally returned to the IPW / MIW world and that coming back now he could see...why he chose to leave. Hercules exclaimed that the whole division sucked and that he would have preferred to stay in exile. With that, yours truly entered the Sweatshop, ready to defend the MIW / IPW world. But before I could reply to Hercules rude assumption, Hercules attacked me and the match was underway. Despite Hercules exile, the Greek God had not missed a beat, downing me various times with massive slams and hard shots. Even the famed Flashbang finisher couldn’t down this superstar! Despite my valiant efforts, it was Hercules decimated and destroyed The Flashman, levelling me with a Herculean Driver.
MATCH 9 – WCW TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT ROUND 3...Original Synn (Sweet Ass & Scott Black) def Cruzing 4 Bruising (Cruz w/ Muze & Poison)
Cruzing 4 a Bruising re-entered the Sweatshop, looking pumped up and ready as ever! Sweet Ass then entered the arena and claimed that he could not compete, due to a knee injury suffered in an early bout. Just then, Scott Black emerged all pumped up and ready to fight – charging around the ring and rattling the ring ropes. Sweet Ass claimed that Black couldn’t fight Cruz & Poison alone, and said that he’d try the best he could to assist Black – stating that Original Synn “have the biggest balls in wrestling”. This statement set Cruz off like there was no tomorrow, telling the duo to “Hurry up” because they had “pissed him off”. Cruz couldn’t contain his anger in the match, resulting in various groin shots to both Sweet Ass & Scott Black. When Ref Jeff intervened, warning Cruz that one more kick to his opponents groin would result in a DQ, Cruz ignored the claim and stopped hard into Sweet Ass’s groin. With that, Ref Jeff announced the match as a DQ, allowing Original Synn to continue onto the finals. Cruz, now even more irate, grabbed Ref Jeff and levelled him with a shot to the groin, whilst complaining to IPW Commissioner, Jackaroo, to reverse the decision. Jackaroo stated that there was nothing he could do.

MATCH 10 – WCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP...
The Lords of Darkness (Ashe & Skhorn) def Original Synn (Sweet Ass & Scott Black)
With all teams seemingly defeated, Original Synn declared themselves the winners of the tournament – until the Lords of Darkness music played. The ex-champs were back, and they wanted their belts! With Original Synn half destroyed, the LOD had the advantage. But, despite being injured, Original Synn put up a valiant fight, beating down each member of the LOD with various attacks and double team moves. NEW WCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
NEW WCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
Match Results 12 June 2010
MATCH 1 – LAST MAN SITTING ROOKIE RODEO POKER CHALLENGE
Bronson Hoye def Shorty, Kieran & Kris
In traditional IPW / MIW fashion, the time had come for a new batch of rookies to officially be inducted into the IPW / MIW World. Their inductees? – The comical duo of Shock Therapy (Violent Bill & Bob). This match featured four rookies in the middle of the ring playing poker at a card table, with the lunatic "bulls" Shock Therapy, given free rein to unleash their induction (beat down) on the rookies, one by one. Bronson Hoye was then speared, and given a "Battering Ram DDT" to the groin for his troubles.
MATCH 2 – NO RULES MATCH FOR THE VACANT HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP
Storm def Slammin Sam [NEW CHAMPION]
Storm has proven herself to be one of the toughest superstars in the IPW / MIW world. But one superstars doesn’t share the same enthusiastic approach to the Rockstar Diva’s new accomplishment – Slammin Sam. Sam had challenged Storm to put her “proof into practice” and fight Sam under a No-Rules stipulation match. To add fuel to the fire, MIW Owner Hawk decided to re-instated the Hardcore Championship, with the winner of the contest being crowned the new champion! After a grueling contest, which involved a barrage of sign and chair shots, it was Storm who would defend the Slammin Superstar, and become the NEW HARDCORE CHAMPION
MATCH 3 – #1 CONTENDERSHIP FOR THE IPW SLAM NATION TITLE
Wolfman def Mystery
The Slam Nation championship is what all cruiserweights / middleweights aim for in the IPW / MIW World. The current champion, Val Vortin, has taken time off to heal his arm after a vicious onslaught during a title defense against Slammin Sam. In his absence, a new #1 Contender was to be decided. The top two cruiserweight / middleweights that were in the hunt of the belt was the new MIW Superstar, Mystery, and the Feral One, Wolfman. The two superstars battled with everything in their being, with either superstar coming just milliseconds away from victory. In the end, it was Wolfman who countered Mystery’s Swanton attempt, hitting him with the Fang Cutter and scoring a pinfall victory
MATCH 4 – SINGLE MATCH
Flashman def Fred Awesome
Fred Awesome was starting to stir up conversation in the IPW world. So much, in fact, that my roster was beginning to complain about his recent actions (Mostly the fact that Fred had stolen Weird One’s South Pacific Championship). But to his credit, Fred had valiantly battled Poison a week before hand. I informed the IPW Roster that I would deal with him. Despite Fred’s recent match-ups, he showed no sign of weariness or fatigue in his match-up against yours truly. Fred laid down a heavy offense against me, but the bias refereeing of Weird One began to distract Fred from his matchup, which ultimately became his downfall. With Fred distracted, I was able to counter and land a Flashbang, disabling Fred and allowing me to pick up the victory. After the contest, Weird One attacked Fred and took back his stolen South Pacific Championship. Hawk then announced that Weird One would face Fred Awesome on the next show, with yours truly, being the special guest referee! Oh Hell Yeah!
MATCH 5 – SINGLE MATCH
Poison def Diamond
During the Wheel of Fate, Diamond was severely battered and broken at the hands of Skhorn, forcing the superstar to take a leave of absence to heal up. Diamond successfully returned, but his dismay, was scheduled to face Poison. Poison, whom had recently been crowned the King of the Wheel of Fate, laughed at his challenger. Poison unleashed his old school offence against Diamond, with Diamond surprisingly fighting back against the MIW Veteran. Eventually, Poison downed the “Polished” superstar, scoring a pinfall after hitting his TKO finisher. MATCH 6 – TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT MATCH
England’s Finest (Renegade & Blackjack) def The Lords of Darkness (Ashe & Skhorn)
MATCH 6 – TAG TEAM TOURNAMENT MATCH
England’s Finest (Renegade & Blackjack) def The Lords of Darkness (Ashe & Skhorn)
The self proclaimed “Best of the British” Renegade and his brother, the British Powerhouse, Black Jack, had adopted the theory that to become the best, they had to beat the best – and what team would currently be the best in the IPW / MIW World? None other than the Lords of Darkness, Ashe & Skhorn. Surprisingly, despite the valiant onslaught brought about by Ashe & Skhorn, England’s Finest managed to score a victory over the reigning tag team, moving them forward in the Tag Tournament.
MATCH 7 – IPW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"Wild" Willy McTavish def Kiwi Thriller
Kiwi Thriller entered the Sweatshop next, donning his famous red jacket and suave shades. Willy McTavish (w/ tag partner Weird One) then graced the Sweatshop with his presence, holding his coveted “Shiny shiny” on his kilt. When informed that this match would be a non-title, Thriller exclaimed that he was told it would be for the championship. Thriller began to get the crowd on his side, chanting “title shot” over and over. McTavish interrupted Kiwi’s crowd attempt, claiming that he had to go through the entire roster, including Skhorn, before EARNING his chance at the title. McTavish then attacked Thriller and the match was underway! Thriller proved himself against the loud-mouth champion, coming close to defeated the Savage Scotsman, but the ruthlessness of McTavish pulled through, eventually putting Thriller down with a double-arm under hook DDT.
MATCH 8 – BATTLE ROYALE
Mystery def The Lords of Darkness, Storm, Poison, Flashman, Fred Awesome, Weird One, Blackjack, Renegade, Wolfman, Diamond and Slammin Sam. After the match, Mystery was viciously attacked by a masked assailant, who revealed himself to be Sweet Ass. Sweet Ass left the building with no explanation for the attack.

'The Wheel of Fate'
MATCH 1 - WHEEL OF FATE TAG MATCH – SKHORN STIPULATION
Diamond & Black Jack def Mystery & Flashman
So, the infamous Wheel of fate was brought back to the Sweatshop. The rules were simple, every match was a tag match with wrestlers names being drawn out of a hat. After the 4 names were drawn, the Wheel of Fate was spun, stopping on a specific match stipulation! Unfortunately for the starting 4, their stipulation was Skhorn! Skhorn was unable to be hit during the match, and could enter or leave the ring anytime he pleased. Though Mystery and Flashman battled valiantly against the towering duo of Black Jack and Diamond, it was the interference of Skhorn that aided The British Bouncer in scoring a pinfall on the downed Flashman.
MATCH 2 - WHEEL OF FATE TAG MATCH – CHAIRS MATCH
Poison & Fred Awesome def Diamond & Black Jack
Fan favourite Poison was drawn next, much to the admiration of the IPW / MIW World – and to whom would be partnered with the powerhouse Poison? Ex-IPW Rookie champion, Fred Awesome. Poison was irate, seemingly displeased with having to team with the self proclaimed “Awesome” superstar. Diamond & Black laughed at Poisons Wheel of Fate tag team partner. What made matters worse for Poison, was the fact that the match was now a CHAIR match! But Diamond and Black Jack may have counted their cards too soon! With Poison now irate, he took out his anger on the English / Diamond team, surprisingly picking up a win over the team!
MATCH 3 - WHEEL OF FATE TAG MATCH – SKHORN STIPULATION
Poison & Fred Awesome def Wolfman & Kiwi Thriller
The Feral One Wolfman and the Thrilling Sensation (and Diamond’s Tag Team Partner) Kiwi Thriller were drawn next. These two superstars couldn’t get more opposite if they tried! Poison was now fired up and ready to take the pain to the new random selections – until the wheel landed on Skhorn! Skhorn re-entered the Sweatshop, chuckling to himself. With the odds now stacked against everyone, both teams took caution to the outside enforcement of Skhorn! It seemed that every time an opposing team got an advantage, Skhorn would run in and disturb the match, costing both teams their bodies and their momentum. But once again, Poison & Fred Awesome were victorious, downing the Feral & Thrilling One’s, advancing in the Wheel of Fate tournament!
MATCH 4 - WHEEL OF FATE TAG MATCH – TAG TEAM CHAIN MATCH
Poison & Fred Awesome def Slammin Sam & Weird One
Drawn next was the South Pacific Champion The Weird One, and his partner Slammin Sam. The Wheel of Fate was spun and landed on a CHAIN MATCH. Hawk then decided that the Chain match would have a team chained together for the entire match. Each team was asked to pick a side of a coin with the losing team ending up in chains! Unfortunately, The Weird One and Slammin Sam lost the coin toss, resulting in them being chained together via the wrist! Poison and Fred used the chain to their advantage, attacking and grappling the tied superstars! Poison and Fred Awesome were once AGAIN victorious, pinning the chained superstars.
MATCH 5 - WHEEL OF FATE TAG MATCH – I QUIT MATCH
Poison & Fred Awesome def Renegade & Ashe
Fred Awesome and Poison were unstoppable! They collectively defeated every Wheel of Fate team and were now down to the final randomized team. The self proclaimed “Best of the British” entered the Sweatshop next, donning his famous British flag and attire. But who would team up with Renegade, now that Black Jack had been defeated earlier? The ex-IPW Heavyweight Champion Ashe! Ashe entered the Sweatshop, displeased to be teamed with one half of “England’s Finest”. The Wheel of Fate was spun next, landing on the I QUIT Stipulation! Poison and Fred Awesome were beginning to show fatigue, which favoured Ashe & Renegade. Various times during the bout were the unlikely duo close to quitting! But perseverance paid off, with Poison and Fred pulling off an upset victory over the British / Resident Evil of IPW & MIW superstar
MATCH 6 - SINGLE MATCH – SKHORN SPECIAL GUEST REFEREE
Muze (Mini-Cruz) def Weird One
Hawk then halted the Wheel of Fate proceedings, claiming that he had complaints erupting from the backstage area. Hawk then invited Muze (Mini-Cruz) to the Sweatshop. Hawk stated that Muze was unhappy about not being contended for the Wheel of Fate, and offered Muze a chance to sort out his frustration against the South Pacific Champion, The Weird One. Weird One then emerged from underneath the ring! Weird One claimed that he was sleeping and had already competed tonight. Hawk then decided that the match should be contested under Wheel of Fate rules! Hawk spun the wheel, landing on the CROWD GAUNTLET stipulation! This stipulation allowed the crowd to attack a superstar if, and only if, a superstar was thrown out of the ring with both feet touching the floor. Unfortunately for the competitors, Skhorn was also invited out to oversee the proceedings as a Special Guest Referee. Muze took a flurry of shots from the South Pacific Champion, but Skhorn interfered, tossing the Weird One out of the ring, allowing the audience to attack him! This seemed to cause the Weird One to become furious! With his frustration mounting, Weird One re-entered the ring, and took aim at Muze. Suddenly, Muze rolled up Weird One and scored a surprising win!
MATCH 7 - WHEEL OF FATE MATCH – I QUIT MATCH
Poison def Fred Awesome
Hawk invited the winning tag team of Poison & Fred Awesome to the ring. Hawk stated that there could only be one “King of the Wheel”. Hawk stated that Poison and Fred Awesome would square off, with the winner becoming the first ever “King of the Wheel”!. Poison was extremely hesitant to face off against the youngster Fred, asking multiple times if Fred wanted to fight him. Fred nodded, and as such, the Wheel of Fate was spun! Sadly for Fred, the Wheel landed on “I QUIT”. With no rules in place, the odds were extremely grim for the “Awesome” Superstar. Even though Fred managed to score a few weapon hits, it was nothing compared to the onslaught brought on by Poison. After numerous chair & street sign attacks, huge slams and clubbing blows, Fred eventually said “I Quit”, ending the match up and crowning Poison the NEW KING OF THE WHEEL!
MATCH 8 - IPW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP – SKHORN STIPULATION
Willy McTavish def Sweet Ass
The Savage Scotsman, Willy McTavish entered the Sweatshop, carrying his self proclaimed “Shiny Shiny!” McTavish claimed that he was ready to fight anyone, because “Everyone loves Willy”. Sweet Ass then emerged, stating that everyone “didn’t love Willy, but they do love Ass!” After a back and forth argument between the superstars as to who loved what more, the match got underway, with the wheel being spun for the final time – landing once again on the Skhorn Stipulation! Sweet Ass demanded a re-spin, but to no avail! Once again, when either superstar gained an advantage in the match, Skhorn would interfere and cost the superstar the momentum. After an old school match up, McTavish was able to defeat Sweet Ass, claiming that “Willy was better than Ass!”

Last Week's Event -10th April 2010
OPENING SEGMENT
Hawk and I welcomed the IPW world to another Wrestle Wars event! Back by popular demand, Ayla Briscoe opened the show singing Mumford and Sons “Little Lion Man”, which received a rounding ovation from the IPW world!
After the opening song, Hawk stated he had a special announcement to make. Hawk then proposed to Susan! Every single IPW / MIW staff, wrestler, assistants & the audience was caught off-guard by the announcement. As a co-owner and long time friend of both Hawk and Susan, I wish them very well in their new found happiness!
Now, onto the show!
Past Weeks at The Sweatshop
Tonight was a particularly good night to be the Flashman. Why? Because one half of The Rogues, and my first official customer to enquire about my managerial services, Blaze made set to make his return to the squared circle!
Even better, he was officially signed onto the IPW Roster. Win win.
But enough about being Flashmatic, let the Flashman give you his Flashy thoughts on the following matches for :

OPENING SEGMENT
MIW Owner Hawk opened the show. Hawk stated that things were changing in the MIW / IPW World. As such, Hawk then invited Flashman out to the ring. Flash then entered the Sweatshop and stated that he wanted all of the IPW Roster to start giving it 110% percent, so that they could put the pressure on the already well established MIW. Hawk then warned Flash that if he didn’t get his roster straight, then there may be a punishment – for example, an owner vs. owner stipulation. Flash agreed and left the ring.

'As the Owner of I.P.W and M.I.W, I regret to announce that my friend and co-wrestler Poison, has just called me to tell me that he has to retire from professional Wrestling for an undetermined amount of time following a doctors determination on Monday 15th March. Whilst I am not at liberty to disclose further information, all the IPW &MIW Roster, Susan and myself, wish him a speedy recovery'. Hawk
Hawk opened the show, welcoming the IPW World to another weekend of Wrestle Wars. Hawk stated that now that he owns both MIW and IPW, the workload has been piling up, and that Hawk would only be able to maintain one show at one time. Chris Saxxon then emerged, stating that Hawk wouldn’t have that problem by the end of the night – as Saxxon was going to dominate Hawk abnd become the new owner of the IPW / MIW World. Hawk stated that Saxxon would only be versing him for the rights to MIW, as Hawk had already found a new owner for IPW –Flashman.
Yes, you read that right. I now own IPW. In case you weren’t in attendance Saturday, allow me to recap my initiation speech - “Things were going to change in IPW, and this goes as a notice to any IPW superstar in the locker room. If any one of you steps out of line, you answer to me. Because I am the Flashman, and I do... what needs to be done.”
MATCH 1 – TAG MATCH
Skhorn & R.I.P. defeated Shock Therapy
So, Shock Therapy were finally released from their asylum and decided to run amuck on the IPW World. Many of the crowd members that night have not experienced the likes of Violent Bill & Bob. But sadly, through much laughter and what almost looked like a “shocking” victory, Shock Therapy fell to the destructive power of the current tag champs, R.I.P. & Skhorn, moving them onto the next round of the IPW Tag Team Championship Tournament
MATCH 2 – SINGLE MATCH
Epic defeated Storm
Epic made a valiant return to the squared circle on Saturday night, vowing revenge on the fiery female Storm – and what a revenge it was. Both female stars mouthed each other off, before and during the bout. Storm backed up her claims, taking it to Epic – but after multiple power shots and huge slams, Epic picked up the victory and served up Storm a lovely meal – a nice cold dish of Revenge.
MATCH 3 – TAG MATCH
The Outbackers (Jackeroo & Jethro) defeated Slammin Sam & Weird One
Two superstars made a surprising return to the IPW ring – the legendary Jackeroo and the tough as nails veteran Jethro, both of whom have been with IPW since its origin as “WCW Australia”. Another superstar, whom has been with IPW since almost its hey-day, was none other than the Weird One. Weird One felt it was his right to challenge the Outbackers, and recruited Slammin Sam to help his cause. Unfortunately for the unlikely duo, The Outbackers were victorious and as such, advanced in the IPW Tag Team Championship Tournament.
MATCH 4 – TAG MATCH
Poison & Cruz defeated Britain’s Finest (Black Jack & Renegade)
Poison and Cruz as a tag team? You have to be crazy to even THINK about stepping into the ring with these two tyrants – but, not everyone took the term “crazy” to heart. The self proclaimed “Britain’s Finest” took it upon themselves to challenge what they called “Australia’s Worst” and prove that Britain is in fact, better. But “Australia’s Worst” became “Britain’s Worst Nightmare”, as Cruz and Poison took the young brits to school, ultimately ending in an Australian victory, and propelling the team to the next round of the IPW Tag Team Championship Tournament.
MATCH 5 – TAG MATCH
Original Sin (Scott Black & Sweet Ass) defeated Wolfman & Lionheart
Original Sin, a name synonymous with bad intentions and cruel consequences, now feature two superstars that fit that description to a T --- “The King of Synn” Scott Black, and the Sweet Assassin. The team of arrogance personified were squared off against the new team of the Wolfman and Lionheart. Lionheart and I have a history, to such an extent where he almost ended the flashmatic career, so a part of me was bias for Original Sin to win. Fortunately, the odds were in my favour, as Original Sin took the Lion and the Wolf and demolished them, allowing Original Sin to progress further in IPW Tag Team Championship Tournament
MATCH 6 – SINGLE MATCH
Flashman defeated Sebastian Maximus
Time and time again, superstars believe that they can square off against me and take away my championship – A championship that I have rightfully worked for, earned and down-right kept. Such a superstar presented himself on Saturday night in the form of Sebastian Maximus. Sebastian now thinks he is ready to take me on for the Slam Nation title, just because Sebastian attained a belt – a belt to which I created, moulded and ultimately donated to the rookie division. This young generation has to understand that things aren’t given, they’re earned.
MATCH 7 – TAG MATCH
R.I.P. & Skhorn defeated Cruz & Poison
Who would have ever imagined that 4 of the most dominate superstars in the MIW division would square off AGAINST each other. The match was the definition of violence, but in the end, the command of R.I.P. & Skhorn conquered the will of Poison & Cruz
R.I.P and Poison
MATCH 8 – TAG MATCH
Outbackers (Jackeroo & Jethro) defeated Original Sin (Scott Black & Sweet Ass)
This match was a battle for the ages. Every superstar in this match had been with IPW / MIW since the beginning. You could literally sum this match up as a classic. After Original Sin entered the squared circle, the song “Cotton Eye Joe” began to play. Original Sin began to laugh hysterically, as they had rigged The Outbackers theme song to which they thought “better represented The Outbackers”. But as fate would have it, Original Sin seemed to have put their money where their mouth was, but in doing so, left Original Sin bankrupt and to top it off, a loss to The Outbackers as well.
MATCH 9 – SINGLE MATCH
Willy McTavish defeated Reaper
As I stated last week, McTavish is a changed man – changed, in the fact, he seems much, much more focused. McTavish decided to try and cheer up Reaper, to which he called an “emo”. McTavish seems to have a strange way of cheering someone up, as he proceeded to lay some Scottish smack on Reaper, and as such, picked up the swift victory.
Do ya wanna see what's under ma kilt boy?

Do ya wanna see what's under ma kilt boy?
MATCH 10 – SINGLE MATCH FOR THE RIGHTS TO MIW aka “The Show”
Hawk defeated Chris Saxxon
The man, the legend and the owner of “his damn show” had finally returned to the squared circle... to face Hawk.
Hawk had finally had enough of the loud mouth Saxxon, claiming that Saxxon “spends more time outside the ring complaining and stating that IPW / MIW was “his damn show”, than he does in the ring!” Saxxon, not one to take criticism lightly, challenged Hawk to lace up his boots and challenge Saxxon for the rights to “the show”.
After delivering not one, not two but THREE brutal finisher, Hawk had finally silenced Saxxon and won the rights to finally claim MIW as “Hawk’s damn show!”
MATCH 11 – TAG MATCH
R.I.P. & Skhorn defeated The Outbackers (Jackeroo & Jethro)
The LOD have become one of the most established & feared team in the pro wrestling industry – but could the Lords of Darkness come up strong against the might of the returning Outbackers. With Ashe at their side, the LOD were as focused as ever. The Outbackers delivered clubbing blow after clubbing blow, but at the end of the night, it was the LOD whom were victorious, and as such, retained their championship gold. The Outbackers are the new Kings of QLD Tag Team, but R.I.P and Skhorn retain the WCW title.
Event 6 March 2010
MATCH 1 - TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
Weird One defeated Wolfman & Lionheart
Proving that being Weird is Wonderful, the Weird One recently made a triumphant return to the squared circle, and as such, dominated these two youngbloods. Having my own personal history with Lionheart, it was good to see the Weird One dispose of this redneck. After the match, the Wolfman & Lionheart seemingly put their differences aside and have joined as an alliance? Does the Flashman see this as a challenge? Only time will tell...
MATCH 2 - SINGLE MATCH
Sebastian Maximus def Slammin Sam, by pinfall following a swinging DDT
Slamming Sam is a very worthy opponent, but for Sam to challenge Sebastian? Sure, he’s the new Flashmatic / Rookie Champion – A belt which I invented – but challenging an ex-Slam Nation champion? Was Seb out of his mind? Surprisingly for the IPW World, Maximus withstood the pressure and the pain from Slamming Sam, winning with a quick, strong DDT
MATCH 3 - IPW SLAM NATION CHAMPIONSHIP
Flashman defeated Storm to retain the IPW Slam Nation Championship
Being the Slam Nation champion, I now have a responsible to shine a positive light on the IPW world. But this light is often blocked, somewhat hidden from the IPW world when I have challengers such as Storm who whine and complain to the commissioner about not having a “fair shot” at the title. Need I remind the IPW World, that there’s not such thing as “fair shots”, only opportunity. But I thought I’d give her another chance, show what a gentleman I am. My actions in the ring, however, were not so gentlemanly. Storm put up a valiant fight, even catching me with her famed “Storm Warning” finisher, but just as every challenger before her, she fell victim to the Flashbang and as such, I am still your IPW Slam Nation Champion
MATCH 4 - SINGLE MATCH
Willy McTavish def Nightmare, by pinfall following a giant gourd buster
I’m reminded of McTavish, dating back to the days when The Rogues battled against him and Syd Pharrel. As time has changed, McTavish has too! Surprisingly, McTavish has come back with a Scottish vengeance and it showed during his match with Nightmare. Nightmare has established himself as a new talent to the roster, but he was just not prepared for the Scottish strength of McTavish. Be interesting to see where / who McTavish focuses his sights on next...
MATCH 5 - SINGLE MATCH
Sweet Ass def Haywire, by submission with "The Ass Hold"
I’ve managed the Sweet Assassin and I know how he operates. But having to compete against Haywire? Surely this must be a career-suicide move for Haywire? Unfortunately, this became apparent as Sweet Ass took Haywire to school and back, eventually winning via the infamous “Ass Hold”
MATCH 6 - SINGLE MATCH
Fred Awesome def Chris Saxxon, by pinfall after IPW owner Hawk interfered, knocking Saxxon out with a flying lariat
Fred Awesome – A young kid with a brash mouth and a strong will – both of which can only get you so far. Another wrestler with a strong will was that of Chris Saxxon. On Saturday night, it became a battle of the words between Saxxon and Awesome, with both stars mouthing off at eachother before and during the bout. I was very, very surprised to see Saxxon lose to the young Fred Awesome. Perhaps I’ve let my mind slip on Fred Awesome. I’ll keep my eye on him.
Saxxon Screams for Mercy.....

Hello Possum
Later that evening Hawk received an abusive phone call from Saxxon about Hawks 'interference' during his match. He called on Hawk to fight him Saturday to see "whose Show this really is"! Hawk said to me that Saxxon must have rocks in his head but accepted the match even though he is in semi-retirement.
MATCH 7- SINGLE MATCH

Best of the British?
Cruz def Black Jack by pinfall, following "The Slasher"
Cruz, well, what can I say – the man is a legend. I give props to Black Jack for taking up Cruz on his challenge. The Heart and Soul of IPW started the match in a bad way, with Black Jack dominating and seemingly proving that he is no pushover, even looking to take the match early. But Cruz is never a man to be counted out early, which showed as Cruz fought back and won via the famous Slasher. Though Black Jack was brave to accept Cruz’s challenge – a challenge, to which he lost. But for the loss, Black Jack has now established his name in IPW
MATCH 8 - TAG MATCH FOR THE IPW / WCW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
RIP/Skhorn def Peter Ohh!/Kiwi Thriller, to retain the IPW/WCW Legacy tag team titles.
With the formation of Skhorn & R.I.P. as a team, the whole IPW / MIW roster has been put on notice – You do not mess with the Tag champs. But it seems that not every superstar got the notice, as Peter Ohh and Kiwi Thriller decided that they were worthy, and brave enough, to challenge the champions. A choice which they probably regret acting upon. After the match, R.I.P. yelled at Skhorn, telling him to “Break Peter Ohh’s Ankle”, which led to Skhorn applying the ankle lock upon Peter Ohh leaving the IPW star crippled
Skhorn gets cracking.....

Ouch..
Skhorn applies the ankle lock!
Peter Ohhhhhh.......
Kiwi Thriller and Peter Ohh limp home.
MATCH 9 - SINGLE MATCH

Mystery tackles the situation hands on.
Poison def Mystery by pinfall, following a TKO
Mystery was probably one of the hardest opponents I’ve ever versed during my time in IPW. But even I thought the Mysterious One was crazy to go up against the likes of the Poison. But truth be told, the match was a classic, providing fast paced, back and forth action. Mystery seemingly had the match in his favour, until Poison caught the high flyer – levelling him with the TKO and scoring a pinfall.
MATCH 10 - IPW SOUTH PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP
Renegade def Ashe, with a prawn hold/roll-up early in their South Pacific title match.
So, the man that almost ended my career, which ended in him being suspended, has decided to return to the IPW World. Normally, I’d feel threatened and intimidated by the likes of Ashe, but time has healed old wounds, and I welcome Ashe back to the squared circle. The young brash Renegade didn’t share my viewpoint and wanted Ashes return to end in a bad, bad way. The match was set under Old School rules with 5 rounds, lasting 3 minutes each.
But controversy arose, the match seemed to end in round one, with the referee declaring that Ashe did not kick out before the 3-count, ending the match in Renegades favour. Ashe became irate with this decision, and began to seemingly dismantle and destroy the young South Pacific Champion. This led to Mystery hitting the ring, seemingly looking for payback aswell. But Ashe knew where his allegiances stand, and as such, Skhorn and RIP hit the ring too, backing up Ashe and establishing their dominance.
Coming up....
What will next Saturday hold for the IPW World? What will I do next Saturday? Who will be the next name added to the list of superstars who have fallen victim the Flashbang.
This goes out to the entire IPW Roster....
"I am the Flashman, and I do...what needs to be done"
To Diva or not to Diva.....
That is the question......Who is She???? The Flashman sees her at all the shows ......Is this the MIW's new Diva watching and waiting??? Stay tuned........
